For villas, hotels and poolsides, solid Iroko, made to spec.
For landscape architects, villa projects, boutique hotels and poolside areas, we build Mihenk to the scale of your project. Single-model discipline preserved: size, quantity and detail to your project, quality always the same.
Who it is for
A landscape architect furnishing a terrace, a boutique hotel making its garden part of the guest experience, or a coastal retreat — the need is the same: an outdoor seating piece that lasts years, is used every day, and lives up to your brand. Mihenk builds a single model; we scale that model to your project.
Iroko swings for villa gardens
In a villa garden, a swing is usually a seat facing the view, used every day by the family and their guests. That is why the size is chosen to fit the landscape plan: the standard models are 195, 211 and 250 cm wide and seat 4-5. With swing clearance, about 320 × 200 cm of free space and a 220 cm ceiling are enough for the Mihenk 2400; no anchoring to the ground is needed.
The same body works on lawn, stone or a timber deck. It is solid Iroko, finished with Italian Teak oil instead of varnish; a yearly oil refresh keeps its natural colour, and without it the wood turns a silver patina. If the standard size does not fit the plan, the Bespoke process builds body length, cushion colour and canopy to the project.
Commercial use in hotel and boutique hotel gardens
In a hotel garden the swing stays outdoors all year and is used by many guests a day. For this use the body is dimensioned for a 380-480 kg load; the connecting hardware is corrosion-resistant stainless steel and hidden from view. The 5-position back lets each guest choose a posture, from morning conversation to an afternoon recline.
In multi-unit orders every unit is built with the same production discipline, in the same size and colour; cushion fabric and canopy colour can follow the hotel's palette. Swings ship flat-packed in 3 cartons; in and around İstanbul our own team installs them. Quantity and delivery schedule are given in writing with a pro-forma invoice after the project meeting.
Poolside and terrace: humidity, chlorine and sun
The poolside is one of the hardest places for garden furniture: water splashes, chlorinated water dries on the surface, the sun hits directly. With its high natural oil content and EN 350 durability class 1-2, Iroko is used outdoors without impregnation; there is no varnish film on the surface to crack and peel.
The cushion fabric is Solution-Dyed Olefin: the colour is in the fibre itself, light-fastness is 7-8 under ISO 105-B02, it is water-repellent and does not develop mould or odour in humidity. The canopy blocks the sun and comes off in minutes when needed. Care by the pool is the same: one oil refresh a year for the body; the cushion cover has a zip and can be washed on a 30°C delicate cycle.
Made-to-spec sizing and quantities
A single unit or dozens for a resort wing: the same design, produced to your project's dimensions and layout. Colour, cushion fabric and canopy chosen to your brand palette. This is not a catalogue order — it is a manufacturing partnership.
Built for commercial use
Year-round open air on a hotel terrace, dozens of guests a day. Kiln-dried solid Iroko body + Italian Teak oil, corrosion-resistant stainless hardware, outdoor cushion fabric, 400 kg load capacity. Designed to carry heavy use.
Single-source production and installation
One factory, from production to installation. In and around İstanbul our own team installs; other provinces receive packaging and installation guidance that preserves our production discipline. No middlemen, no diffused responsibility.
Registered design and verifiable provenance
The design is registered with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office; material provenance is documentable. Being able to show the source of every piece you specify into a project — the quiet but decisive detail of corporate due diligence.
How a project consultation unfolds
Not a sale — a collaboration. Every project begins with discovery.
Discovery
We listen to your project, the space and the intensity of use. Dimensions, quantity and timeline are clarified.
Technical proposal
We propose sizing, fabric, canopy and layout suited to the space. Budget and delivery schedule are transparent.
Sample and approval
Fabric and finish samples; unit approval on request. Production begins only with your approval.
Production
At the Gelibolu factory, with single-model discipline. A production-batch record is kept.
Installation and delivery
Installation by our own team in İstanbul; packaged delivery and installation support to other provinces.
Questions from project and hospitality clients
Do you produce garden swings in volume for hotel gardens?
Yes. Volume production is available for hotels, resorts and hospitality projects; quantity and delivery schedule are planned per project, and installation is done by our own team. For commercial use the frame is rated at 400-480 kg.
Which model and size suit a villa garden?
The standard models are 195, 211 and 250 cm wide and seat 4-5; the Mihenk 2400 needs a clear area of 320 × 200 cm. If the project calls for custom dimensions, the Bespoke process builds the frame length and details to the landscape plan.
Does solid Iroko hold up by the pool?
It does. Iroko's high natural oil content keeps moisture and chlorinated splashes out of the wood; there is no varnish on the surface, and the three coats of teak oil are refreshed once a year. The cushion fabric is solution-dyed olefin: water-repellent, lightfastness 7-8, no mould or odour.
How does the project process work and how long does it take?
Brief, technical drawing and approval, production, delivery and installation. Standard models ship in 7-14 days; for custom dimensions and volume orders the schedule is fixed after the brief and confirmed in writing with the pro-forma invoice.
