Garden swing manufacturer: the Gelibolu factory.
Deniz Salıncak is not a dealer or an importer; it is the manufacturer. Our solid Iroko garden swings have been built in our own factory since 2000 and delivered factory-direct, with no one in between.
Deniz Salıncak is a garden swing manufacturer that has built solid Iroko swings in its own factory in Gelibolu (Çanakkale, Türkiye) since 2000; factory-direct, flat-pack, 7-14 days, 2-year warranty.

What being the manufacturer means for you
Most garden swings on the market are made somewhere else and pass through several hands before reaching you; each step adds a margin. We are the first link in that chain. Timber enters our factory and a swing leaves it; every decision in between is made by our own craftsmen.
That gives you three concrete things. Price transparency: the figure on the product page is the factory price, with no dealer margin on top. Responsibility: the 2-year warranty is given by the people who built the swing, and they are the ones you talk to. Time: your order goes straight to the factory and ships within 7-14 days.
Production takes place in Gelibolu, Çanakkale. In our Istanbul showroom you can see the models, sit in them and try the five back positions. The only frame material we use is solid Iroko; we do not build plastic, MDF, spruce or metal-framed swings.
From timber to carton: how a swing is made
The eight stages a Mihenk, Lavinya or Almila goes through before it leaves the factory. Every stage is documented in our quality file; nothing is claimed here without a document behind it.
Timber sourcing — solid Iroko from Cameroon
We use a single species for the frame: Iroko (Milicia excelsa). The timber originates in Cameroon and is bought from an FSC-certified supplier; the certificate of origin, supplier invoice and the supplier's chain-of-custody certificate are kept on file. Plot-level data for the EU EUDR regulation is being prepared with our suppliers.
Kiln drying
Timber enters the factory kiln-dried. Controlled moisture limits movement, cracking and joint opening outdoors from the start. Boards with cracks or heart defects never reach the line; every batch is inspected piece by piece.
Cutting and shaping — CNC plus hand correction
Each model is cut to its own fixed dimensions; the frame geometry is calculated for its load rating (400 kg for the Mihenk 2400, 460 kg for the Almila 2800). Parts are CNC-cut, then corrected and sanded by hand.
Frame and position mechanism
The back adjusts through five positions; in the last one the swing becomes a bed. The form and the opening mechanism are protected by a registered design at the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (No. 2026 000125). Fixings are corrosion-resistant and hidden from view.
Finish — three coats of Italian teak oil
No varnish, no paint. The surface is sealed with three staged coats of Italian teak oil, which penetrates the wood instead of forming a film, so it cannot peel. One refresh a year is enough. The natural grain stays visible.
Cushions — solution-dyed olefin, silicone fibre fill
The cushion fabric is solution-dyed olefin: the colour is in the yarn itself, lightfastness 7-8 (ISO 105-B02), water-repellent and breathable. The fill is silicone fibre; it does not collapse or hold moisture. Two colours: mustard and anthracite.
Inspection and packing — 3 cartons, flat-pack
Every swing is inspected fully assembled, then dismantled and packed into 3 cartons (about 104 kg in total). Flat-pack limits transit damage and loads efficiently into 20′ and 40′ containers for export.
Dispatch
Orders ship within 7-14 days. Within Türkiye delivery to all 81 provinces is free. For export, the load plan and the A.TR certificate for the EU are issued with the pro-forma invoice.

One material, three sizes.
The three standard models share the same solid Iroko backbone; they differ in size and seating. Requests beyond the standard sizes go through the Bespoke process with the factory owner.
What we do not do, and what we do.
One frame material
We do not build spruce, pine, MDF, plastic or metal-framed swings. Every frame is 100% solid Iroko; cushions and hardware follow the same standard.
Oil, not varnish
Varnish forms a film that cracks and peels outdoors. Italian teak oil penetrates the wood; maintenance is a single oil refresh a year.
Documented origin
The timber's origin, supplier and chain-of-custody certificate are on file and shared on request. We do not print the FSC logo on our products because the certificate belongs to our supplier, not to us.
Registered design
The form and the position mechanism are protected by a registered design. We sell a product we manufacture, not one picked from a catalogue.
Price as information
The factory price is printed on the product page. We do not use campaigns or stock pressure; stock status is given as plain information.
Manufacturer warranty
The 2-year warranty and the spare-part support that follows come from the factory that built the swing, not from a dealer's discretion.
Project and wholesale supply
For landscape architects, hotels and hospitality projects, volume production, project-specific dimensions and flat-pack container shipments are planned directly from the factory.
